Maitencillo, Puchuncaví Township
It is located 15 km from Puchuncaví and almost 70 km from Viña del Mar. This town has one of the narrowest and longest coastlines in the Puchuncaví township. The Maitencillo Small-Scale Fishing Port located here is part of the country's artisanal fishing tradition. There, fishermen have established a 15-hectare marine refuge within their Management and Exploitation Areas of Benthic Resources (AMERB, by its Spanish acronym), with the goal of protecting marine biodiversity.

Las Ventanas
Las Ventanas is a coastal town located 8 kilometers from Puchuncaví, in the Valparaíso Region. Known for its extensive beach and bay, the town has a deep connection to the fishing and mining industries, the latter of which has had a significant economic and environmental impact on the area. In addition, Las Ventanas is home to a marine refuge managed by the artisanal fishermen's union, part of a conservation initiative that includes the Management and Exploitation Areas of Benthic Resources (AMERB).
